Who we are
Kinovi (kinovi.kids) is run by its founder in the United States. Contact: Kinovi Privacy Team, privacy@kinovi.kids, postal address coming soon, phone coming soon.
What this page covers
This is our notice under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). It explains what we collect from grown-ups and from kids, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and what you can do.
What we collect
- From you (the grown-up): your name, email, password (stored scrambled) and PIN (stored scrambled).
- From your child: a chosen name (a nickname is best), an age, what they type to Kinovi, the specs, games and apps they make, files you approve with your PIN, and their workspace settings.
- Technical: IP address and browser type, for security, kept a short time.

We never collect: a kid email, a kid phone number, face photos for ID, location, contacts, advertising IDs, or tracking across other sites.
Why we collect it
Only to run Kinovi: answering your child, building their projects, keeping chat safe, and showing you their work. We do not use it for ads, and nobody trains AI on it.
Can kids make anything public?
Only through "publish together": you read a safety report with your child, type your PIN, and publish. Published games show an ID, never a name. You can unpublish any time.
Consent
Before a dreamer profile is used, you give consent as the parent or guardian. Our consent check is a small card check. If consent is not finished within 14 days, we delete your email and keep nothing else.
Who helps us
Our AI provider (Anthropic) and our web host. They may only use data to run Kinovi. See Who we share with.
How long we keep it
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. No ad cookies and no tracking cookies. We do not use analytics that follow kids around the web.
Voice
If we add "talk instead of typing", the sound is turned into text and the sound is deleted right away.
Your rights
You can see, download or delete your family's data, stop collection, and close your account. See Your rights and controls.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we tell you first by email and ask again when the law requires it. The date at the top shows the last change.
